My name is Chris, and I’ve worked with nonprofit organizations for my whole career, and I believe in their power to truly change the world. I’ve seen firsthand how important it is for nonprofits to have clear and compelling websites that connect with potential donors, recipients of services, and community leaders.
I started building websites with WordPress in 2009. I founded my company, Tomatillo Design LLC, in 2011. Since then, I have built more than 150 custom WordPress websites for clients, with an incredibly strong track record of success. I work directly with HTML / CSS / PHP / JS to ensure that your website is customized to work great with your particular content.
Through the years, I have worked primarily with small and medium-sized nonprofits, so I am well aware of the challenges they often face. Many of my clients have hired me after years of frustration trying to wrangle out-of-date technology or relying on inconsistent volunteers to keep things up-to-date. Some are looking for a major design upgrade – something more contemporary and visually appealing. And some have a long list of broken workflows and inefficient steps that prevent staff from being able to focus on the work that is truly important. If you look through my portfolio, you’ll see that I’ve been creating huge wins for my clients in all of these areas.
I know that many nonprofits don’t have a communications budget or the ability to hire large design agencies or marketing firms, but that shouldn’t prevent them from being able to share their story with the world in a captivating way.
Bottom line: I’m committed to building amazing custom websites for nonprofits at a great value.
